Letter from the President

Our Shiloh Branch is now open!!!

If you have a chance (and the snow and the cold let up), please come and visit us at the new West end location at 2526 Shiloh Road in Billings.  The branch is both beautiful and functional.  And the opportunities it presents for future credit union growth are tremendous. 

In honor of the branch opening, we have rolled out a market-crushing 13-month CD special at .75%.  In addition to that, we have moved up all other deposit rates in the past month.  It’s impossible for us to always be the market leader in rates, but we are committed to trying.  As the economy slowly seems to be rounding a corner, we want to be out ahead of the rates for our members.  We have been especially concentrating on short-term certificates and our high yield accounts.  I know a lot of folks are still nervous about committing to longer term investments – so we are trying to accommodate on the short-term side.

On the transactional side, this month we are rolling out our “ClickSwitch” program.  This application found on our website enables members to quickly and painlessly switch their direct deposits from other institutions to the credit union.  Typically, this process is a bit of hassle – a hassle we wanted to go away.  Now with just answering a few quick questions, the process can be automated.  If you want your paycheck going into some of the great savings vehicles I mentioned above, please check it out.  Or give us a call and we will walk you through it.
