2024 Annual Elections Notice
Dear Credit Union Members:
The 2024 Annual Meeting and Election of Credit Union Board Members will take place on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, and will be held at the Great Northern Best Western Premier, 835 Great Northern Blvd, Helena, MT at 5:30 p.m. In accordance with the Credit Union’s Bylaws, the Secretary hereby submits the following Annual Election Notice:
There are two (2) terms expiring on the Board of Directors. The following incumbent Directors have been re-nominated for election by the Nominating Committee:
Kevin Dunn – Three-year term
Nancy Everson – Three-year term
Nominations for vacancies may also be made, but only by petition. An election will not be conducted by ballot and there will be no nominations from the floor. Any member who wants to submit a nomination is required to submit a nomination by petition. Petition Forms and the Petition Rules are available at the reception desk in the Kessler branch, 915 Kessler Ave, Helena, MT. A member must be in good standing and obtain the signatures of at least 1% of the members to have their name placed on the ballot. All petitions must be returned to the Kessler branch by October 17, 2024.
At the Annual Meeting and Election on November 26th all persons nominated by either the Nominating Committee or by Petition shall be placed before the members for a vote. The results of the Annual Election will be announced at the Annual Meeting.
Professional history of re-nominated Directors:
Kevin Dunn. Kevin Dunn joined the board of Intrepid Credit Union in 2015 when Elkhorn Federal Credit Union merged into the former. Kevin brings a wealth of credit union experience having served on the board of Elkhorn for several years. Kevin is a practicing investment advisor who generously lends his financial expertise as an active director of Intrepid Credit Union.
Nancy Everson. Nancy Everson is the longest serving member of the Intrepid Credit Union board. Her start as a volunteer with Intrepid Credit Union dates back over 15 years. Nancy currently serves as board Secretary and holds the position of Governmental Finance Director for the Montana Association of Counties. Nancy’s work and credit union experience make her an ideal fit and outstanding contributor as an active director of Intrepid Credit Union.
